Does everything it says it does but it doesn't have rubber feet or a handle that sits perpendicular to the body - those things make the radio slide around everywhere if you do REALLY try the crank. But then again it seems that it really does hold a charge and it doesn't take much time to charge it. The solar panel is enough even to be close to direct sunlight. If you can find a similar product at this price point with a grip that is easier and quicker to turn, go for it. If not, looks like it will work
