This is the way to do it!
My advice is not to waste time with aluminum foil, duct tape, or any of the supposed "cheap" ways to shield your guitar. This is a great product! Easy to work with, the adhesive is strong and the copper is the right combination of strength and pliability. I put down a layer to make sure every nook and cranny was covered, then went back with a top layer to get my outline and clean it up a little bit. This was a fun project. I used about half the roll on one guitar, but I did a double layer. You could probably get three guitars out of one of these rolls depending on the model.
- Can be used to repair and replace damaged wires and cables
