I burned my leg with flying metal sparks and splinters, but this blade kicked my butt and cut a huge piece of 1/4 gauge steel, about 10 feet long. in length. I thought I needed a cutter but this knife combined with my Hitachi grinder did the job perfectly. When I started I had little hope that my plan would work, but after making 1/4 the length of the steel pipe I'm cutting I knew I was going to cut all the way through. This blade is a little pricey but wow what a powerful diamond dust blade. I recommend this blade for use in a meat grinder. Just make sure you wear goggles, long sleeves and pants to protect your legs as this will throw up a huge pile of hot sparks from flying metal bits.
