I like the colour, shape and design of the teapot, these are 3 reasons I ordered it. It heats the water well, although it seems to last longer than I think based on the design. At the same time, the kettle "beeps" or "barks" until the water is hot enough, which is a bit annoying. And the painting of the teapot on the edge of the spout and the main cavity looks unfinished. The edges of these two areas aren't blue, but they look like they haven't been painted to the edge. That's right. But given the lack of care, build quality and attention to something I essentially think about every time I use the kettle (wrong paintwork), I don't think I can recommend it.
