Loved it when it arrived. When I've used it, the round piece of metal that lifts up when you pour water isn't far enough away and the water gets on it. I've washed it several times and you can see what happened to it in the picture, it's completely peeling and tearing.

I like the blue color, it goes with my other technique. It's taller than most kettles, but the base is smaller than most. I like to take my tea to work in a contigo bottle and heating the water in the microwave was slow with a cup I needed to heat more water so this kettle is great!

The teapot was great BUT it only came in the box it came in and absolutely no padding no paper NOTHING! The lid was not screwed onto the kettle as with tape, paper or bubble wrap, but simply dangled in the box and scratched the blue paintwork in many places. He was returned.

I like the colour, shape and design of the teapot, these are 3 reasons I ordered it. It heats the water well, although it seems to last longer than I think based on the design.
