Review on Rotary Screw Driver Pocket by Mitch Wright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tool so far. The tip has a thicker taper than most.

10-16-18 I'm examining a rotary pocket screwdriver. The reason for the purchase was to replace a pocket screwdriver that I had used for years, which I often use for small power tools as well as some automotive applications such as unplugging connectors. One thing that first caught my eye was when I received or inspected the driver. an unusually thick tip, or better yet, a tapered tip. You'll notice in some of my photos that this one has a thick, short taper unlike any other pocket screwdriver I've ever used or seen. I suspect this should strengthen the tip as most are fairly flimsy and can sometimes easily twist if too much force is applied. So far, this advice has not influenced his work in any way. I have and have been using it for at least 2 weeks. The opposite end is magnetized, which is useful for making carburetors and removing bolts after loosening in hard-to-reach places. So far I can recommend it and would buy it again in the future. I hope my tip prediction is correct to make this tool last longer. I purchased these from seller "Outdoor Power Equipment" and also mailed them which I think is important to list this information. I have met sellers with different products including fakes even if they are listed under the same brand. I will post an update with a durability rating.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
