So, the dog loves to sit on the couch and drop bones off the edge, just to get on and take it back. After the last drop, my wife and I decided it was time to spruce up our studio with a variety of rugs and stop the bones rattling. After a thorough search on Amazon we had two rugs and this one won on a coin toss. This is a good blanket, soft enough to lie on and strong enough to withstand the dog's vomit on day 2 of ownership. The curl took about 3 or 4 days to flatten out. This rug is dog tested and approved and keeps bones from disturbing our 9th floor downstairs neighbors if the dog decides to be an idiot. It also resists its claws well. Bonus, my cheap stick vacuum can easily pick up pet-sized hairballs left behind by a dog due to the carpet's low pile. Dog tested, human approved / 10, will buy again.
