Masa is not liable on the spreader
The video makes operation easier than it actually is. I had a hard time gluing the masa to the spreader because of the slick plastic. I think next time I'll take coarse sandpaper with me. Also, your husk should be near-perfect in size and texture, and unfortunately, corn husks have a lot of imperfections and ridges. But it really sped up the process when I figured out how to get the masa to stick to the spatula, much to my dismay. Note: Your bowl must be literally free of moisture for the masa to stick to the spatula.
