Review on 🔨 Bosch 11255VSR SDS Plus BULLDOG Xtreme Rotary Hammer Drill by Daryl Fitch

I'm quite an accomplished DIYer. I've done enough housework that I feel like I know what I'm doing (most of the time). I had to remove about 120 square feet of stone tile from a concrete slab. I bought this hole punch hoping it would make my tile removal project a lot easier. I also bought two different chisel bits, a Bosch brand and an unknown brand. After using this hole punch and chisel for about 30 minutes, I found that the tiles didn't lift as easily or quickly as I had hoped. I could hear and feel the "knock" of the impact drill. But the tile didn't come up easily. I then tried using a hand held cold chisel and a short handled sledgehammer. A hand chisel and short-handled sledgehammer removed the tile MUCH faster than a hammer drill. In earnest. Now I remove the tiles with a hand chisel and a sledgehammer. But all is not lost! I used a Bosch hammer drill to remove the old flimsy set (mortar) and it works quickly and easily. So here's my conclusion: In my situation, this Bosch rotary hammer is not that good at removing stone slabs from a concrete slab. She's slower than me, even though she would be. / Mortar out of concrete, it works really well as long as you use the right chisel. Of course, your results may differ from mine. PLEASE READ THIS: While working I felt sharp pieces of tile hit my arm, neck and face. ALWAYS WEAR GOGGLES WITH FULL EYE COVERAGE. DO NOT USE ANYTHING THAT LOOK LIKE GLASSES. YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
