Much to love, with some problems.... This preferred line is made in France, as opposed to the all-black pans that are made in China. The difference is that stainless steel has a sharper appearance, but isn't as easy to clean as all-black pans from China. One of the things I liked about this 13 piece set is that it came with plastic lids which the smaller sets don't have and as far as I can tell they can't be bought separately. An indicator dot lets you know when your pan is fully heated and ready to add your food. I found the pan to be well constructed and I found it heated evenly. The amount of space this entire set takes up is so minimal it's insane! Whether you have limited space in your kitchen or a huge kitchen, you will love that this whole set takes up so little space! Like I said, there's a lot to love! While I really like the idea of the detachable handles, there is a learning curve to cooking with these handles. You don't put the pen down and you cook with the pen because you're going to get in trouble. With a handle attached to the rim of the pot, the lid can't be a tight fit, which may or may not be an issue depending on what you're doing. You will need to remove the handle if you want the lid to be tight. Whether you cook on a gas stove, electric stove, glass stove, induction stove or oven, I've learned to put the handle on, once the stove gets hot, I take it off before putting it on the lid, and then put the handle on up again when I want to take it off the stove or oven. It's a bit of a hassle, but I think it's worth it just for the space savings. So one star for that little annoyance but overall I really like pans, I have a medium sized kitchen but now I have a lot more space in my closet because I got rid of all the other pans and all those pans. nicely folded into one area. I believe that the uniqueness of the product, its usefulness and quality are good value.
