I replaced the factory original rear shocks on my 2004 Rav4 that were leaking on these shocks. I was looking for monotube shocks that would be an improvement over the OEM twin tubes that came with the car. They were easy to replace, I didn't even have to jack the car up if I didn't want to, but as I also replaced the rear rotors and brake pads I managed to do it anyway. The only issue I have is that they don't give you all the hardware to replace and you end up having to reuse some old washers. They give you 2 bushings and 3 metal washers, the problem is each rubber bushing needs 2 metal washers that compress the bushings and that is on top of the shock, they don't give you metal washers for the bottom of the shock. So I had to reuse all those fittings consisting of inner and outer washers with a screw. It's ok but I'm wondering why they don't offer to replace all hardware? The ride is much stiffer and the rear is taller, the ride is much more comfortable, and the price and easy interchangeability make it worth it. After a lot of research, compared to some well-known brands like Gabriel and Monroe, they were ranked as one of the best, they have much better reviews. Lifetime warranty is good to know that if one of them fails, which I'm not expecting, it won't cost me anything.
