UPDATED 5/15/2015: The product worked fine for 2 years and then broke down. I downgraded it to 2 stars (from the original 4). Original Review; This product is a good replacement for the kill switch that failed on my 2003 Impala. My turn signals went out intermittently and I got tired of hitting the kill switch to get them working again so I replaced it with this part. I would give it 5 stars but the cap doesn't seem to be as tight as the original switch but no one will notice except the person who replaced it. Installation was easy - I replaced this part and the dash light switch (which failed) in about an hour - no rush. You will need to remove the plastic dashboard bezel to access both parts - Dorman Auto Parts has a great video showing exactly which screws need to be removed. This part is easy to replace and will save you a few hundred dollars compared to going to a dealer or mechanic. Before removing/installing the passenger side fuse box cover, be sure to open the glove box door to gain access to one of the screws.
