This is what you need to replace that crappy GM quick coupler
. The '98 Silverado uses a 3/4" hose instead of 5/8". I was lucky and mine didn't break while priming. Yours will likely break, so be prepared with a removal tool. If that doesn't work, cut it into chunks with a hacksaw blade and clean out with a 1/2 14 NPT tap. Much luck!
