This set of 72 colored pencils comes in a metal tin. The pens are divided into two tiers, so you remove the plastic pen holder from the bottom set to access them. There is a wide range of colors in the set, although some of them don't quite live up to their name (e.g. sepia isn't brown, it's blue). However, you can tell the color by looking at the tip or colored band at the other end of the pen. These pencils are sharp but not sharp. However, you can easily sharpen them with a pencil sharpener. The pigment is wax based. The color is easy to apply and blends well. A picture shows a quick drawing of a flower I drew with these pens.
