Review on πŸ”Š HP 32-Inch Display with Olufsen Speakers and 2560X1440P Resolution (N9C43AA) by Chris Herrington

. "B&O Speakers " - I needed a monitor with good sound so I didn't have to have separate speakers.

One of the main reasons I bought this monitor was "B&O speakers" - I wanted a great sounding monitor so I didn't have to have separate speakers, cables and wall warts that came with them. Out of the box these speakers sound awful - I'm shocked that B&O named this product after themselves. Luckily I managed to get them sounding acceptable with an inordinate amount of EQ (using the very good Equalizer APO software), which is the only reason I kept the monitor. For reference, the Echo's sound quality is beyond praise. The monitor itself isn't bad - it's more suited to working than filming, but has good viewing angles and no color shift. I was pleasantly surprised that the included VESA mount adapter didn't add depth (it mounts on the wall and I didn't want it to protrude too much). The "loudspeaker covers" on the back of the monitor are simply glued on. and came loose as soon as the monitor was unpacked - in my case it doesn't really matter since it's wall mounted, but it might be a problem for some.
