First of all, creating a hidden bookshelf door is no newbie. The company provides some basic instructions, but you may want to plan to customize them based on your wall, opening size, flush mount depth, trim design, etc. However, I had a semi-flush bookcase (okay, pool cue and reducer) assembled and installed in one day.
