What do you want from this article?

I think that's a question to ask as it's a classic type of item that people looking to buy have very different expectations. My expectations weren't high. I just need some kind of shelf that can't be wall mounted where I can store my big tools to save space. Before buying a stand, all of my large instruments would just sit in a corner, leaning against a wall, or on a shelf next to that corner. I would say my tools took up about 1/4 of the available space. Two advantages of this rack that I will definitely use: 1) my herbivore actually fits in, albeit tightly, and 2) there is enough space next to the rack to set my ladders down. In other words, this device really saved me space. , which simplifies access to the tools since they are not stacked on top of each other. However, there are some legitimate concerns raised by other reviewers. The plastic doesn't seem very durable. The plastic shelf and base seem average. It's very light but still has about a 5 or 6 on the durability scale. These two parts will probably work well for a long time if they are not exposed to direct sunlight. The pillars, however, are a different matter altogether. I was concerned that they would be strong enough for me to use during assembly. I was very careful and ended up using a hammer instead of leaning on it with my weight. Wheels are meaningless. If you want to use this as a mobile tool rack, look elsewhere. I could see that rotating hand tools is ok, but when there is weight on the rack it is better to move the tools individually. Very seriously. That's great advice I can give a manufacturer. Get rid of the wheels and take a dollar or two off the price. The organization of the slots could be better. This block is great for storing my large tools. It currently has a shovel, rake, cane hammer, lawn punch, rammer, herbivore, and a few other small items. I have concerns about the weight of the tempera, but these items are treated with it. Items it doesn't hold well include things like hair clippers, pruning shears, secateurs, and the like. In other words, most hand tools don't fit well in this rack and I really hoped this would provide a solution for the tools that are too big for the toolbox. This will suit my needs. It's in the closet, so it's not in the sun. I intend to keep it stationary and have managed to free up space in my closet to store other things. My rating is based more on my expectations combined with what I think most people would use this for. Would I buy this again? Let's just say I would watch it again first.

Pros
  • EASY ASSEMBLY. This garage garden tool organizer requires no tools making it easy to assemble. The plastic parts simply snap together, making it easy to assemble in minutes.
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
