Sturdy drill but with a fast drill it may rip your arm off. It burrows very quickly and can establish itself quickly in clay soil. This makes the drill want to rotate you when the drill is stuck. I had to use a lower speed cordless drill. If I dug too far, I couldn't get the drill out either. The yellow tools are designed to remove debris stuck to the drill, but are not powerful enough to remove the clay. I found that if I drilled a few inches at a time and pulled the bit out, I could drill a hole 12 inches deep. I used a screwdriver to scrape off the clay. Despite the problems, the job got done.
