I really like this Thunder shirt especially the color for my girl Zoe. I ordered her a large one, but it was a bit fluffy for her liking. I returned because of their size. I order size XL for her because she is a Redbone/Dutch Shepherd. and gained some weight. I see no problem in going to size XL. I put her in the big one so she can feel it and she loves it besides being snug. A few times when I put it on her we could see the difference on her. I don't want it to be too tight on her, I want her to be comfortable in it. And believe me, with XL she will be 100% more comfortable and so will we. I highly recommend the thunder shirt for your dogs. This is the second one I've bought. The first one I bought was for my boy Charlie. He is a black labrador/cocker spaniel. He is always afraid of thunder, fireworks and loud noises. Now he is 12 years old. I bought him a medium sized shirt I really like it and Charlie boy we've all seen an amazing difference in it on stormy nights and around the 4th of July my only fault was not buying it sooner. He sleeps much better on nights like this. He came and laid on top of me, just shaking, and he felt like he couldn't get close enough to hide under the covers and shake. Not anymore, he's stretched out and relaxed like he doesn't care about the whole world. Love it. Although I miss him waking me up in the middle of the night to comfort him, I do wake up to check on him to make sure he's alright and to find him either lying by my legs or sprawled out. healthy sleep and it's a good feeling on stormy nights. Now my girl Zoe was a barker and very eccentric. although we take them to dog classes. which helps her deal with boredom at night, it's even worse when she barks just to bark and scratch mattresses and carpets like she's digging a hole. Several times when I put on that thunder shirt, it didn't. I took off my Donner t-shirt to send it back to change the order to size XL and boom, here we are again barking and scratching like she's digging a hole.
