Note: I don't have cheap plastic, about that some reviewers have complained It just can't break except in the case of a major manufacturing defect This is the most convenient and inexpensive crusher I could find Made from high strength reinforced nylon, not the cheap plastic I bought 15-20 years ago Bought years ago and still use, but the old one is more like plastic (but sturdy) After careful study of dozens of crushers, this is the easiest to use I don't use an overhead basket/holder: more trouble than wasted time loading I fill the bin (crate, large bucket, etc.) with empty cans, put it on a stand so that you can easily reach it with your arm, etc nd the long lever/large lever handle makes the job very easy. Unlike most other crushers, there is no need to use a hand to know how to remove the crushed object from the device. The crushed can automatically falls through a 1-3/4" slot into your choice of container.
