Review on Dorman 38448 Door Striker Bolt by Bruno Gilbert

All the bad reviews on here seem strange to me as this lock bolt fits all my Ford trucks, 1993 F-350, 1996 F250. I think what a lot of people don't realize is that their pickups might have another problem they don't know about, like bad pivot pivots which causes those shock studs to wear out faster than hell. This helped my door stay closed for a while but I knew in advance that my top door hinge would fail and result in a break which I have now repaired so this won't happen for the next 30 years! Check your door hinges, folks, before you blame the other part that's not at fault.
