Liked it - good for light weight. GPS

No reviews so I took a chance. Bought to ride my bike off-road. Haven't tested this with my Garmin etrex 10 yet - I have a lot of experience with ram mounts and GPS on bikes. .It's not a battering ram - more like regular plastic - but the ball mount feels solid, as does the mount on the back of the GPS - I expect it to move around a bit in this ball mount and I'm fine with using it! I have this mounted on 1" rental handlebars. Wouldn't hesitate to put this on a road bike or hunting quad. I'm only looking for this to keep my GPS on and not fall off on small jumps and corners - I have a feeling that it will be! It seems to work best on 1" handlebars, but I didn't over tighten or stress the plastic - the rubber grommets under the clamp improve durability. Love the extra cable that i will mount on the handlebars for my indestructible etrex, trust me it will be perfect for my needs: keep a light gps that i only need to read in case of emergency if it gets lost and slap in the from time to time Mud back on it. I just couldn't put a $70 GPS on an $80 Ram mount! I don't compete in the Dakar but I drive as fast as I can through the woods for 3 hours straight. I would s agen buy it - for the price it will be great to hold onto an etrex 10 and be available if you get lost. Hope that helps!
