After thoroughly washing them before putting them in my belly button, they caused my skin to become irritated and infected. I have had my belly button pierced for over 18 years and have never had this type of problem. Although the material is bendable and the jeweled balls are pretty, it is too long and the balls do not stay securely fastened. I was constantly making sure they were still in and tightened. I ended up throwing the product away and leaving the belly rings out til the end of my pregnancy.
