I love eufy products and was thrilled with this lock. It has a lot of pluses, but one really big minus. Pros: - Easy to install - Fingerprint sensor works pretty well - Build quality is great - Thing looks great - Lots of different access options - App and software features are easy to use and full BLE (Bluetooth) to WiFi. This is a huge mistake for a company that is typically at the forefront of smart home technology. As a result, you cannot remotely access the lock to check its status, lock/unlock it remotely, or add guest codes remotely. You also can't connect it to a smart assistant (Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant), which gets a little "smart" out of control. With a Wi-Fi connection, you can (pun intended) unlock features like IFTTT, which (pun #2) opens up a whole world of possibilities. Nevertheless, I bought the lock because Eufy/Anker makes quality products. They have experience listening to feedback, so I'm hoping they make an adapter to connect remotely. If they did, this lock would be the best in its class.
