To my disappointment, I found that the iron does not maintain a constant temperature when you pick it up and use it. I've learned to set my temperature above what I need to actually apply my HTV at the correct temperature, as the temperature drops quickly once it's removed from its mount and placed on your project. In all other respects, however, I've really enjoyed using this product and it gets the job done if you're expecting a drop in temperature. The screen is easy to read, its operation is easy to understand, and it has an auto shut-off feature, which I really appreciate in case you forget it or someone unexpectedly walks through the door in the middle of a project.
