Review on 🚴 Giro Isode MIPS Adult Road Cycling Helmet: Lightweight Protection for Enhanced Safety by David Dreher

This helmet replaces a previous Giro helmet that I gave to a friend to exchange when it was damaged. The straps on this helmet are a soft flat cord with fine thread that is softer and more flexible than the previous helmet; It's very comfortable on my face and doesn't cut into the rim of my ears like the previous helmet. The styrofoam backing is correctly molded directly into the shell and the one button sizing on the helmet itself is the best mechanism I've found on any helmet I've tried. This makes it very easy and quick to adjust when you need to wear a winter hat underneath on a cold morning, which needs to be removed later when the air temperature or you warm up and the hat is no longer needed. It has good ventilation as well as a lightweight and durable abrasion-resistant body that won't disappoint. I've never "crash tested" a helmet in the 32,000 miles I've ridden my road bike, but this helmet looks solidly built and is probably as good as any handy vented helmet to cover your skull in a crash protection.
