what is what is. slightly cheaper OEM replacement muffler. I can't comment on the fitment as my Mazda has an aftermarket catback exhaust system so this OEM muffler probably won't bolt on perfectly, but I knew that before I bought it. (and for those wondering why I don't just ditch the recall system, it's loud and annoying and was in the car when I bought it). Here's one area of this product that made me shake my head. The welds on the outlet and the polished tip look like they were done by my 2 year old son. They look thick and pretty sturdy, but my goodness, they look sloppy. BUT this is an OEM style muffler and you really won't be able to see any sloppy looking welds, so it's no big deal. A good product if you are looking for a stock-like exhaust sound. *update* - was able to install the muffler myself in less than 30 minutes. Sounds nice and quiet.
