This well designed device is unfortunately quite fragile. While figuring out how to use it, I broke it right out of the box. I can probably fix it with super glue and it actually came intact so I won't be returning it. I should have taken the term "filigree design" in the product description more seriously! Pros: - Folds up compact enough to easily fit in a drawer or cupboard - Adjustable divider lets you choose multiple slice thicknesses - Knife slot allows the blade to extend beyond the bottom of the loaf for a clean cut. Cons: - Breaks very easily - Holes in the bread rack allow crumbs to fall onto the counter - It really should be used on a cutting board to avoid damaging it with a knife or scratching the counter. - Did I mention? It violates. Really easy. I'm not sure I could have expected anything better for the price. But I'm disappointed. I do not recommend this.
