Review on 💧 Flojet BW5000-000A Single Inlet Bottled Water System, 115V US Plug - White by Justin Newport

I've had several of these, five or six, installed on two different espresso machines over the past eight years. Machines are little used at home as they are not on for more than an hour a day. None of them lasted more than three years, and some deteriorated after as little as two years. I would have switched to a different system but I went all-in with Flojet and have used them in custom installations in custom cabinets and replacing them would require a cabinet and countertop overhaul. This particular one only lasted 3 weeks before it started pulsing constantly when turned on even though the pump was not drawing water or requiring water. At least I was able to return this one for a replacement which, knock on wood, is still working a month later. courting! There aren't many other systems out there, but I'd look around and find something else if I had to repeat it again. As a side note, the company has finally made only the wand available, which comes in the bottle. This seems to be the part that is failing (the magnetic float switch at the end). So now I only have to spend $40-$50 to fix it instead of throwing the pump away and buying a whole new system. This system has proven to me time and time again that it is unreliable in the long run.
