Liked the kit but the documentation sucks (update)

Update: Internal cracks appeared on two glass weights after one use. Couldn't trust fermentation due to possible glass. I sent the set back. The kit is easy to use. but for starters, the documentation really sucks this way. I would like detailed step-by-step instructions on how to ferment at least one product. Listen to my first thoughts. 1: The instructions say to sterilize jars and lids (no mention of scales but that was obvious). Banks without problems, 10 minutes in boiling water. Lid? I saw in a review that these types of lids go bad when boiled, so I boiled in boiling water for 10 minutes and then found that if it's above the brine line, it's not a problem. 2: no explanation for water without chlorine. 3: These are self releasing CO2 lids but instructions say to take them off 4: No talk of what to look for (bubbles, like fermentation and acid smell) 5: Website not much better 6: Mini recipe book doesn't include any details about what water to use. It is only stated that filtered water is used. .7: Some recipes mention the use of sourdough but don't explain it. I got this because I didn't have to delve much into my first use of information, but I still had to do it. otherwise I love the kit.
