Best I've found so far

OK, I've been a bit busy with (tactical) shooting gloves lately, bought a bunch, looking for the right gloves for shooting and shooting leisure activities. In my 24 years of service in the military and in all the conflicts we have been involved in during that time, I have used tactical gloves in one form or another for many years. As such, I am willing to pay more for a product tailored to my needs. In this case you get what you pay for. Background. For starters, I try to write these reviews to help consumers like me find similar products that suit their use/purpose, so in this case hand size is one of the critical points. These gloves seem to be getting smaller lately so I wanted to post this review. I need a shooting glove due to a skin condition affecting my hands which is breaking down the skin on the palm of my fingers making them sensitive. It got worse on fluted (textured) triggers like my Kimber and/or long range shooting, so I always shoot with gloves now. I shoot at least 3 times a week and average about 1200 shots a month. My hand size: I wear a size 7.5 to 8.0 surgical glove or usually a large nitrile glove - on this glove it was very large (XL) What I was looking for: A shooting glove that would allow for easier magazine reloading better feel the position of the hand on the weapon and does not tire even with prolonged use. If you shoot a lot like me, buy smaller gloves, especially leather gloves (will stretch when broken in) to get a nice fit for better dexterity. I struggle with that fine line between a snug fit and over-webbed fingers, which causes significant fatigue with use. So I kept going back and forth hoping the gloves would stretch a bit with use. You can tell these gloves have been worked out because they have so many features that I need. Thanks to the elastic inserts on the knuckles, the fit is perfect and not tiring at all. They're thin when shooting with your fingers and I haven't tried them to see the touchscreen capabilities (running and updating) but everything else about them is perfect. Agility isn't a surgical glove, but it's definitely the best compromise you'll make for protection. I'd say these are gloves that can be worn in summer and fall, but in long periods of extreme cold you might need something with a little more insulation, but that comes at the expense of dexterity. In my opinion, this glove has the perfect balance. The only thing I loved, wouldn't even say bad, other than it's a bit small for the size, is where the cuff of the glove ends. It works "shorter" than almost any other I've tried or attempted. It's not a bad fit, ending just below where you first meet the watch strap. For the military, law enforcement, etc., this allows you to wear a watch and still wear a glove compared to others that wear something over the wrist and buckle down. The more I wear them, the more I like this fit, although I don't usually wear a watch when shooting anymore. One last thing about the level of knuckle protection this glove offers. If you plan on getting into a fistfight or twisting keys and cracking your knuckles, then this might not be your glove. There is some padding but not the level I need for close quarters combat or extreme conditions but I don't think they are designed for that. All in all these are the best gloves I have ever bought and I will buy them first here and there. I started big but had to send them back because they were too small. If you are close to a large or extra large size, choose the XL size. I love how quickly Amazon allowed returns and I received a new pair in 2 days (Prime). Buy with confidence. I will update 3-5 times a week depending on the season after 3 months of filming.
