Stay away from this family of products. That does not work.

I bought 2 of these. The first one in my office worked flawlessly with an ORBI RBR50 as an access point. A good thing. The app you should be using is just poor quality and slow to respond, but the web was simple enough to get it up and running right out of the box. I bought #2 for my home to have IPSec in my office during the pandemic. And then the problems started. I connected it to WAX610 for WiFi and GC108PP for PoE. 75% of my IoT devices stopped working or were intermittent. But IPSec was important. I contacted tech support by phone and they were unable to resolve the issue. I got the beta firmware and it would disconnect and sometimes reconnect every 20 minutes and sometimes not. So I bought another AP as the coverage was very poor compared to my ORBI RBK50 setup. After this was connected, the devices just randomly disconnected. I was always getting APIPAs (or the dreaded 169th IPs on my Macs, PCs, and phones). it just didn't work. I thought it may be a router. After 2 months of tech support they told me they couldn't figure it out. I asked for a hardware replacement as it has a 5 year replacement warranty. I guess they refused to exchange the BR200. It was too late to return to Revain as I had been working with tech support for so long that my return window was closing. The experience left me raw. If I didn't already have an ORBI system in my house, I would never have connected another NETGEAR product to my house. I've been using this brand for over ten years and have spent many thousands of dollars over the years but it was just ridiculous. If you're buying this product because of their warranty, look elsewhere. The whole installation cost me over $1,000. Now it sits in boxes and gathering dust as this product was never meant to be ready for sale. It just isn't.
