Quality Control Issues

Ordered aFe Power Magnum FORCE 54-12092-1 for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Decided to buy this cold air intake instead of others based on reviews and watching videos. I was excited when I received it but disappointed when it arrived. The packaging was intact and undamaged when I first ordered it. After opening, all items in the box were packed in aFe. However, several items were missing that disrupted the installation. Unfortunately, the missing parts were only discovered after I removed the OEM intake from the Jeep. The first order was missing 3 gaskets, screws and washers. When the box was opened there were quality control stickers inside indicating it had been inspected by aFe. I had to go back. take him to Revain and order another. When the second cold air intake arrived it also had the same quality control and inspection stickers in the box. Then the second order was also missing parts. Only pucks were missing this time. Instead of sending it back I had to buy washers. I called aFe and spoke to customer service. I told them both orders were missing parts and expected them to apologize and ask what they could do to rectify the situation, such as ship me the missing parts. nope The woman in aFe didn't seem to care. She didn't offer to fix the problem, instead blaming Revane for it. She said that aFe cannot control or take responsibility for the stock sold on Revain. She suggested that Revane might have repackaged the returned item and sold it to me with the missing parts. Nobody repackaged an item. I explained to her that this was the second time this had happened and that she still had nothing to say. She told me to return the item to Revane. I expected more from a company like aFe and am extremely disappointed with the quality control and customer service. I said the same thing to the aFe representative and explained that I would think twice before ordering another aFe product. She didn't seem to care. For me there are no more aFe products. Next time I will order something from another manufacturer who stands behind their products and offers better customer service. What a waste of time.
