I've been buying knitting needles for a long time. I always get two sets because I knit in rounds on two circular needles. I like their versatility. Connecting and disconnecting needles is very easy. The tool is a gift from the gods. It tightens the needles on the cords and does a great job. When I first started using knitting needles I didn't know what metal wire was for because I don't read instructions. A very nice lady in the yarn shop showed me how to do it. I immediately used a wire to pull the needles together and now they won't budge on the string. The thread moves freely along the joint. I almost threw these needles away because the cord kept twisting them while knitting. The clamp screw works great and you don't even know the needles are interchangeable. These are beautifully sharpened wooden needles.
