When I put gas in my 2008 Dodge Ram, the truck stopped randomly until it had driven a few miles. It wouldn't trigger the check engine light or anything, so I couldn't even figure out what the problem was. So I decided to try this gas cap and no more problems. Installation is obviously simple: remove the old cap and replace it with a new one. The cone on the belt is pushed into the hole and requires some effort. Once the strap is on your body, insert the cap into the filler neck and turn clockwise until the clutch clicks, indicating it is tight. Great value and less than the auto parts store.
