Updated from Charge 3 just because I'm a dirty consumer who loves the latest toys and I can say there's definitely an improvement in sound quality ! JBL is still my customer of portable speakers and almost all of my friends also own jbl products. They are built to last and sound great. Unless you're a big audiophile you're probably better off buying a Charge 3 or Charge 4 to save money, but I'll say I can tell a difference in sound quality.
