Review on πŸͺš iMachinist S561814 Bi-Metal Bandsaw for Optimal Cutting by Andrew Frison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Smooth, fast, straight cuts in wood and most metals

I had no idea anyone made bi-metal blades for small band saws. Works great and is the first blade for my little bandsaw to cut a straight line! TIP: Just don't make my mistake and don't try to cut something out of stainless steel (that's bad). It appears MUCH tougher than more typical forms of steel, changing the blade from one that cuts wood, aluminum, mild steel, brass, copper, etc. easily and smoothly to one that burns wood (and much more slowly than it used to). smooth cutting!) Highly recommended for cutting anything but stainless steel.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
