Rancho Shock Boots Deal of the Century!

These Rancho cushioning and forked boots are well made and MUST be the DEAL of the century! I actually bought 4 of these to use on my 1982 Suzuki GS850GL bike. I split the first set along one of the molding seams with scissors to keep the cut straight and used a tightened zip tie at the top and bottom of the front fork tubes. In the middle sections I added 3 looser zippers to close the seam a bit but not so tight that it would affect the performance of the fork. The split seam has been positioned facing the rider of the bike to keep road debris out. This allowed me to get good fork protection from rocks and bugs that could damage the fork seals without having to completely disassemble the fork tubes. I keep the second set of boots in case I actually have to take the forks apart to replace the seal at some point. The cost of these is so cheap that you wouldn't mind cutting up a pair for instant protection on your bike. fork tubes. Nice! Regards, Jo T
