Even if your roller brush appears to spin freely, it can still be bad. The problem lies in the roller brush bearings. Over time, the roller brush bearings clog with dirt and debris. This will gradually slow down the rotation. Then when you put on a new belt with all that tension, it puts pressure on them and slows them down even more. The roller brush does not keep up with the rotation of the motors, so the motor shaft begins to stick to the belt until it breaks. Does it make sense? It will continue to burn and break new belts until you replace it. For this reason, Panasonic recommends frequent cleaning and regular replacement of the roller brush.
