My old laptop had download speeds of 6-16Mbps (on a very good day) when I paid for 45Mbps. I average about 12. I tried updating the WiFi drivers, changing the channel, but it didn't help. Then I thought that for the price I would try this product. I was shocked. Now I have a speed of 40.00+. The internal Wi-Fi card that came with my laptop just didn't work. I'm using Windows 10. I didn't bother with the installation disc. I connected the flash drive and disabled the internal WiFi. Very easy. I can choose to update the drivers but everything works fine. Thank you Panda I thought I would have to replace my laptop. Note. To allow panda to find my 5Ghz network I went to control panel, network and sharing, right clicked panda wifi properties, configured, advanced and then channel - selected 5g only. (for some versions of Windows 802.11ac is listed) The network dropped for a second and then Panda found 5 GHz. Now I get the full 50Mbps I paid for.
