A while back I received an official $100 adapter kit from DeWalt to upgrade an old 18v kit I inherited. It works well but the adapter itself is difficult to remove and only one adapter is included but 2 batteries. I need a second adapter so I can use 2 drill bits at the same time (one for pre-drilling and one for screwing). I took a chance buying this adapter for the price as it was a bit cheaper than the branded adapter and has good reviews. Haven't used it long enough to confirm durability, but as a simple adapter I can't imagine anything could go wrong with it. Everything works as expected and the side clips are actually 100x easier to work with than a branded model. The battery goes in and out just as easily. The USB charger is a cool upgrade too and it works, the voltage/amp reading on it looks like it would work with a decent range of USB hardware aside from charging your phone. If you're looking for a second adapter for your kit, or even a first adapter, this is definitely one to check out.
