Overall I am very happy with this rug. I bought it for our master bathroom which has a slightly larger footprint than a typical bathroom rug which would be too small. The colors are exactly like the picture and for $40 it's hard to get a rug this size. In terms of comfort, the rug is quite soft - remember that it is made from olefin yarn, a synthetic polypropylene fiber. If you think about it, I would say the following: in my bathroom or under the kitchen table where my kids spill food, crumbs, etc. It looks good and you don't have to worry about ruining it at this price point. (2) I probably wouldn't choose this rug for my living room. or a playground where I could spend a long time playing on the floor with my children. This is simply because I would probably go with something fancier even though it would cost more. (3) If I was on a budget (or in a dorm) I would retract my second comment above and go with it. It's comfortable enough to get the job done.
