I removed and installed the aftermarket tool box that always seemed to get in the way and couldn't be happier. It leans out of the way and I can still lug a sheet of 4x8 plywood. I just installed it despite having to cut a hole in my bedding. The cut out area is not visible when the toolbox is in the stowed position. Such a cut is easy to make with an office knife. These boxes are somewhat limited in the number of tools you can store. If you have a full-width tool chest that you always keep full, this might not be for you. I installed one on both sides. Order SC400P for passenger and SC400D for driver. They are not interchangeable.
