Review on Brother Scanner DS 720D Scanning Lightweight by Justin Gore

Does his job: Office electronics

Let me start by saying that I'm a field technician who maintains points of sale, computers and printers. I bought this device after doing some research. The reason for my purchase was twofold. One of them was scanning documents used in my work. And the second is to scan registration receipts. It was very difficult to put a receipt on the flatbed scanner platform, scan it and then go and scan another receipt. Individually. So far I have no serious complaints about this device. I'm seeing several reports that appear to be the result of a misunderstanding of the system. One person complained about the black and white JPEG files. There is a setting to switch from B/W to color. Another complained that BR-Receipts corrupted files. I believe she imported the files into BR and he linked those files to this application. Another complained about the old software. Although it appears to have been around for a few decades, the last modified date (for use on Windows) was two years ago. Most importantly, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN. And when you run the software, save the manual in a folder. So you can access it when you need it. In general, I see no problems with this device. And while the software doesn't work exactly the way I'd like it to, it is what it is. I would buy it again if needed. By the way, save some money and buy this version rather than the WiFi offering. WLAN with battery offers nothing worth mentioning compared to this version.

Cons
