I have several of these emergency radios, one in each car. This one is the smallest of all brands, better than nothing but something I don't want to have on hand in case of an emergency. First of all, the radio reception and sound is pretty terrible, even the NOAA band, which is the most important thing. They have a flashlight mode, but my other devices also have a bendable reading light. The charging mode for a typical phone is very slow, but again better than a completely dead battery. At this price you can easily find more compact emergency radios with better functionality. It's more like a toy that kids can use to camp in their backyard.
