Review on MICHELIN Primacy 4 215/55 R17 94V summer by Boyan Mihaylov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

I've been using Michelin Primacy 4 tires in my second season, 205/55 R16 91V. I drove Ceed for 6 years while it was equipped with Hankook Ventus Prime2 tires. It turned out that it was noisy and rough, but I drove it and everything fit my needs. It was time for a change, therefore Michelin Primacy 4 was bought after a protracted search through articles, reviews, and opinions. The initial perception was that the pressure of 2.2 quickly pinned it after leaving the tire store! The soft rubber gave the impression that the car was different. It depends on the asphalt surface, but the tires are quieter than the previous one while the Shumka on Side left much to be desired in terms of noise levels. On to manageability next. (The most of the time, I drive gently, although there have been instances on decent roads with a Hankook 200+ (now I recall why.? The car pressed to the ground and scoured a little, but it still drove smoothly. I had to take a taxi. On the track, I experienced a very great moment. We have a roadway that connects the city and the suburbs; on both sides, the left lane dropped through, as it always does in a rut, and you have to work really hard to get out of it before you suddenly fly out of it. You simply move over the bumps and that's it on Michelin tires. I assume this is because of the bead and the rubber's softness, which clings to the edges of the rut and prevents you from feeling the transition. Of course, you feel a deeper rut, but the car steers much more comfortably. Naturally, the car continues to go straight and without losing respect; the "sea" is another story. TOTAL. Second year of Michelin, 6 Years of Hankook I would have chosen Michelin long ago if I had known there was such a difference! Why do you sell your automobiles with such tires, KIA? The most crucial query, of course, is whether or not a Michelin tire is worth $4700. And is there a chance for anything better? I have no regrets.

Pros
  • I don't regret my purchase because it rolls clearly and silently and because driving feels so different now. I adore it! This comparison with the Hankook Ventus Prime2 on the Kia Ceed 2022 must be fully understood! because when making a decision, I read many evaluations and occasionally you don't understand reality; someone describes the sensations and compares them to some sort of Nokia and Audi, which is obviously completely different.
Cons
  • Price. To say goodbye to roughly 19,000 people was heartbreaking. Perhaps the pricing and quality should be so high:). Rubber MADE IN RUSSIA (and my efforts to locate the original suppliers proved fruitless; I could find no other suppliers whatsoever). And I also noted that the car started to coast worse (totally stops earlier than on the wood Hankook, it goes a shorter "coasting" distance, allegedly because of the soft rubber). I'm not sure if this has an impact on fuel economy, but I did notice this.
