I LOVE these locking squares! Although some have mentioned that they can only be placed in a specific pattern, I attached a sweater to mine and it's drying right now. I already blocked the body of the sweater and then knitted the arms last. Wet just the sleeves of the sweater before blocking just the sleeves. I was able to place the straight edge of a row of three squares side by side to end up with a long blocking block. It worked perfectly for what I was doing at the moment! I agree that this type of finish dries much faster than blocking on towels. I have been knitting and weaving for 60 years and wish I had gotten them sooner! Another nice thing is that it comes with a clear storage pouch and a box of locking pins. The material does NOT have an unpleasant odor like some other blocking pads. I love them and highly recommend them!
