Not too heavy but does the job
I wasn't sure it would hold up my door when I unpacked it - it seemed lightweight. But the tiered base fits nicely under the gap at the bottom of my door and helps it stay in place and keep the door open in my crooked old house. The handle allows for easy maneuverability and I definitely use it more often than my old door wedge as I don't have to bend down all the way to turn it on and off. It has a pleasing look - not too flashy due to the slim profile, but classically simple when admiring it. Flat cast iron finish.
