I have attached many things to my truck and trailer, they are worth it. They give a lot more room to attach the ends of my ratchet straps so the ratchet is in a straight line and not kinked in a corner. They also make it easier to tension the middle of the belt. They're light, but twice as good as similar port freighters for about the same price. There are several sturdier, wider and longer versions available at Revain which is good to have a choice.
