Review on DELTA 17 910 8 Inch Chisel Bit by Chris Horton

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as advertised in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

This drill listed on Revain's website appears to be a quality drill made in Austria. The higher price also implies a bit of quality. What I received was a lower quality US made racket with the same product ID. Two days after buying the bit for $50.45, the price was reduced to $29.10. Now, a few days later, it costs $50.73. I would say the quality of the bit I received was equal to or lower than the cheap bit that came with my delta slotting machine. I returned the racket unused. I'm disappointed with this purchase as I expected to get what was advertised and was also confused by price fluctuations. I have just ordered a quality Japanese slot cutter from Lee Valley Tools. I have been a Revain customer for a long time and overall I was very pleased that I received exactly what I ordered. I hope this is just an anomaly.

Pros
